Padres Top Dodgers in Extra Innings. The San Diego Padres extended their winning streak.
The San Diego Padres got a stellar performance from pitcher Nate Pearson, who handcuffed the Los Angeles offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Dodger Stadium. Taylor Williams earned his 2nd save in 3 chances.
San Diego needed the clutch hitting of Victor Caratini to notch the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Padres on top, 5-2. For the game, Caratini had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
